Takedowns will usually require between 2 - 4 weeks to be removed from all stores.

Can I edit my release after it has been confirmed?

If you need to edit your release you can do so for free until it has been quality checked and sent to stores by Songflowr. If we see a mistake or problem with the release we will send you an email and you can update free of charge.

If you need to make an edit after the release has been sent to stores you will need to make a note of your original ISRC and UPC codes, take your music down and follow these steps to reupload the release with your required edits.

6. Select the box labelled ‘Yes, use my own barcode’ and enter the original EAN/UPC code for the release.

7. Leave ‘As soon as possible’ selected on the ‘When would you like this release to go on sale?’ section.

8. Complete all other stages of the Release Builder.

9. Add To Basket and Confirm & Process Order.

Do I have to pay yearly?

How do I move my music from another distributor to Songflowr?

The process of moving your music to Songflowr from another distributor is simple, but it’s important you follow these steps very carefully to make sure you don’t lose any of your existing streams or playlist placements.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Find all meta data and original files associated with the music you’d like to move to Songflowr.

This includes:

- ISRC codes
- Artist name & track titles
- Original audio files
- Original artwork

It is really important all of this information is EXACTLY the same as your original release when you re-upload your music to Songflowr, so make a note of it, double-check everything and keep it somewhere safe.

2. Issue a takedown request to your current distributor.

Log into the account you have with your current distributor and ask them to remove your music from stores. There is usually a ‘takedown request’ button you can click to make this happen.

3. Re-upload your music to Songflowr.

Once your takedown request has been processed by your current distributor and your release is no longer live in stores, you can re-upload your music to Songflowr.

It's very important that the release has been completely removed from iTunes before we re-deliver it as any duplicates in their system will result in both releases being removed.

Remember to use the exact same ISRC codes, artist names and track titles you made a note of earlier, as well as the original audio files and artwork, when you re-upload your music.

What next?

There may be a short period of downtime, but we’ll get your music back up in stores as quickly as possible with all of your original streaming numbers & playlist placements intact.
